Mario Wageeh William Ibrahim

Visiting Researcher

BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, May 2024

During his undergraduate studies, Mario worked alongside Prof. Irmgard Bischofberger and Dr. Paul Lilin to study crack pattern formation. Those cracks form due to high internal stresses from drying, and often create intricate patterns. Following graduation, Mario briefly joined the Harris lab at Brown University to study the water entry of hydrophobic spheres. At the Boyce Lab, Mario is investigating granular segregation within chute flows.
