Katie Wu
Postdoc
Katie is a postdoctoral research scientist in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Columbia University. She earned her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University under the supervision of Prof. Howard A. Stone. During her Ph.D., her research focused on capillary phenomena and viscous flows in narrow geometries. She earned her Sc.B. in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University. At Columbia University, she studies selective clogging of microfluidic analogs of subsurface fracture networks and the effects of flow and current pulsation on bubble dynamics in flow-through electrolyzers, among other topics.
