Fangxin is currently pursuing an M.S. in Chemical Engineering at Columbia University, with a concentration in sustainable materials, and plans to pursue a Ph.D. after graduation. She obtained her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University where she conducted research on tribology. Her current research focuses on fluidized granular beds, with specific interests in the design of gas distributors.
