Evan Willmarth

Evan is a postdoctoral research scientist in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Columbia University. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University under the supervision of Prof. Corey O'Hern. During his Ph.D., his research focused on identifying defects in amorphous solids. He earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University. At Columbia, he will carry out both computational and experimental studies on fluidized granular materials.
